Glastonbury Festival 2024

The 54th annual Glastonbury Festival is right around the corner!

This year’s music festival will run from the 26th of June to the 30th of June. This is the biggest music event in the United Kingdom. The event will be held near the town of Glastonbury in Worthy Farm, Pilton, England.

American singer Shania Twain will be performing at Glastonbury this year. Other performers who will be singing at this year’s festival will be Coldplay and Seventeen just to name a few from the line up. You can see the full line up on the Glastonbury website homepage. If you want to save a few pounds on food, there is a £6 meal deal that will be available on some food traders menu so you can enjoy delicious food without breaking the bank on food, drinks, and kid’s meals.

If you are planning to take public transport you can take the train from Paddington Station to The Castle Cary, get off the train then walk to the route  one Shepton Mallet Bus stop that is located on the A371 station road. Then get off the bus at Chapel, head south on the A371 then walk for 2.2 miles to Bagborough Lan, then turn right onto  Bagborough lane till you get to the A 37 then you will have to cross the street and turn left then walk down the A37 until you arrive to the festival. It’s about 2 hours and 48 minutes according to Google Maps from London to the Festival. If you do not want to take a train you can take a coach right to the gates. But if you are planning to drive to the festival from South London, you can take the M3 to the A303 and A37. (Sat Nav TA11 7DP).  If you’re travelling from Wales then take the M4 with the M5 to the A39 (Sat Nav BA6 9XE)
