MILWAUKEE WI – There is a proposal and Study for commuter rail in Milwaukee Wisconsin the Mark railway will be running trains from downtown Milwaukee to the Kenosha Metra Station in Downtown Kenosha then passengers will have to transfer to Metra’s UP North Line to continue south to Chicago Illinois. Passengers will be able to ride the train from Milwaukee to Racine and Kenosha to hang out, shop and work in those counties without worrying about a car, traffic, and paying for parking or trying to find a place to park so you can go more with less stress and the train will help the economy by bring more business, jobs, and tourism to the area and southeast Wisconsin. If proposal passes and gets enough money the commuter trains will be service Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin by 2050. If federal funding gets approved this is just the first step of the study and will find out more information about the proposal and study of the commuter rail project going forward.
