
The Christkindl market is a German Christmas Market serving the Midwest for the 28th year in Chicago Illinois also at its Aurora Illinois location. The Christkindl market is free admission to get in and enjoy German food also drink hot chocolate and shop. It’s located in Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago right off Randolph Street a few blocks away from Macy’s on State Street. Daley Plaza is located at 50 West Washington Street on the corners of North Clark Street and North Dearborn Street next to the CTA Blue line Washington Street Station. The Chicago location is open at 11:00 am – 8:00 pm on Sunday – Thursday 11 am – 9:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
The market will be open on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Downtown Chicago location. If you’re planning to go to the Aurora Illinois location located in River Edge Park at 360 North Broadway, Aurora Illinois the market will be open at 11:00 am – 7:00 pm on Thursday. On Friday through Saturday, it will be open at 11:00 am – 9:00 pm and on Sundays they are open 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. For the Aurora location the hours will change for opening times on Thanksgiving they will be open 11:00 am – 4:00pm on December 16 through December 18 they are open 11:00 am – 7:00 pm. On December 23 the hours will be 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. On Christmas eve they will be open at 11:00 am – 4:00 pm according to the Christkindl Market website.
